As part drawing? the Port of Tyne Gallery at The Customs House are taking part in The Big Draw. The theme this year is Every Drawing Tells a Story, so throughout the month of October we are inviting all of our visitors to make us a drawing that tells us a story about themselves.
You can create a self-portrait, a picture of friends or family, a pet or favourite toy, a special place or a scene showing a funny or interesting event from your life – it’s up to you! You can bring a drawing that you made at home and leave it at the box office or make a drawing here at the Customs House while you wait for your film or play in the Green Room.
There will be drop-in sessions in the gallery on 28 and 29 of October from 10am-2pm for parents and little ones, you don’t need to book a place, just show up and join in.
All drawings will be displayed here at The Customs House in a special exhibition in November.
So come down and look for our Big Draw drawing station there’ll be pencils and paper waiting for you!
