Drawn In: An opportunity for visitors to engage with, draw and display the views within 36 Lime Street’s quirky corridors, secret spaces, workshops and studios.
Visitors will be able to draw on a variety of surfaces with different media and display their work in spaces within 36 Lime Street, gradually creating collaborative walls of drawings over the weekend.
The “Drawn In” activity will take place at 36 Lime Street’s biggest Open Studios weekend, part of the vibrant Ouseburn Open Studios event. Explore our quirky listed building to see high quality work by a range of creative practitioners, meet the makers and enjoy a festive atmosphere with gift ideas from paintings and prints to sculpture, jewellery, textiles, furniture and glass with half-hourly piano performances by Steve Luck on Level 2.
There’s also a chance to help us maintain this amazing building with an original Hole Editions letterpress print raffle ticket. Wonderful prizes are donated by 36 Lime Street members plus selected local businesses. Enjoy a relaxing and fortifying cuppa and snack at our pop-up café in the Gallery.
36 Lime Street will be open on Friday 24 November from 5pm – 8pm for a preview evening and on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November from 10am – 5pm. Free Entry. More details on our website.
